Eileen Pacheco, Principal
Eileen Pacheco is an experienced communications professional who combines senior-level expertise with a hands-on approach and a commitment to maximizing the return on her clients’ investment.
Prior to founding Tango Group in 1999, Eileen served as director of public relations for full-service marketing communications agency Marketing Strategies, Inc., where she managed public relations programs for high-tech and medical technology clients.
Prior to her tenure at Marketing Strategies, Eileen served as vice president of marketing for data security start-up Seven Locks Software. She was a key member of the team that positioned the company for acquisition by Quarterdeck Software.
As an account executive with public relations firm Creamer Dickson Basford, Eileen provided strategic public relations counsel to emerging technology companies and major telecommunications clients, including Comsat Communications and NYNEX.
Eileen began her career as a marketing communications manager for network services provider, Infonet Services Corporation
Eileen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcasting & Film from Boston University’s College of Communication, with a concentration in Marketing.

Sue Thorn, Principal
Sue Thorn is a seasoned communications professional with more than 15 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations and marketing communications. She has led communications programs for Fortune 500 companies, start-ups and educational institutions.
Prior to joining Tango Group, Sue spent the past seven years leading communications strategy for Boston-area educational institutions, Merrimack College and Northeastern University’s College of Professional Studies. During her tenure at these educational institutions, Sue developed and executed integrated communications strategy to raise visibility and brand awareness nationally and internationally. She also developed visual identity, messaging and brand guidelines, led media strategy and developed content and creative direction for websites and social media channels.
Prior to joining Northeastern, Sue spent several years on the West Coast working in technology public relations. She established the first public relations program for InfoWorld, a technology magazine and website and then moved to Excite@Home where she developed and executed public relations strategy for the company’s business-to-business division. She then moved to Work.com, a technology start-up and joint venture of Excite@Home and Dow Jones, where she directed public relations and internal communications.
Sue began her career at the public relations firm Creamer Dickson Basford where she promoted established and emerging companies such as Comsat Communications, NYNEX and Panasonic.
Sue holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from New England College and a Master of Science in Corporate and Organizational Communications from Northeastern University.
