Former US Under Secretary of Education Martha J. Kanter to Present the 2016 OLC Digital Learning Innovation Awards

Former US Under Secretary of Education Martha J. Kanter, Ed.D., will present the 2016 OLC Digital Learning Innovation Awards (DLIAwards) during a special awards luncheon, on Nov. 17, at the OLC Accelerate conference, in Orlando.

This is the first year of the DLIAwards competition, which recognizes faculty-led teams and institutions for advancing student success through the adoption of digital courseware. The award program is funded by a grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Postsecondary Success Program.

“The mission of the OLC DLIAwards is to discover student-centered active learning solutions that advance the world of digital learning for all students,” Kathleen S. Ives, D.M., CEO and executive director, Online Learning Consortium. “Dr. Kanter’s background and interests reflect the essence of this mission, and we are honored to have her joining us in Orlando to present our inaugural awards.”
